Timing Pin Use Instruction:
Remove the plug from either the left or right side timing access holes.
Hand tighten the J-42083 Automatic Timing Pin Lock into the timing access hole.
Preload the spring by pushing the slide handle forward and turn clockwise to engage a locking slot.
Turn engine manually (usually counter clockwise) until a click is heard.
Automatic timing pin plunger now engaged in flywheel timing holes.
To remove, turn slide handle counter clockwise to release spring, then unscrew from flywheel housing.

Injector Height Tool Use Instruction:
Adjust injector height to 78.0 ± 0.2 mm (3.07 ± 0.01 inch) from top of unit injector to machined ledge.
Tighten lock nut to a torque of 100 ± 10 N·m (74 ± 7 lb ft).

Engine Barring Socket Use Instruction:
Insert tool into flywheel housing until it engages ring gear.
Attach a 1/2-inch square drive ratchet or breaker bar and turn.
